Background & Objectives
Our client requested a themed Wild West evening for his wife’s 40th Birthday and 150 of her friends and family.
Planning and Preparation
We tried to create a large space but still keeping the evening intimate as it required a host of themed props. We wanted the evening to look classy and fun with relaxing elements.
The Event
The Marquee and layout for the evening was imperative and opted for a traditional Kata with long benches draped with skins and a large chillout area with soft cushions and low tables.
The entrance needed to have a wow factor and so we dressed the entrance with a wagon, huge cacti, hay bales and horses ridding on the adjoining fields to the driveway.
The outside space allowed room for a saloon bar shootout and Rodeo Bull giving us a perfect photograph opportunity.
The guests and staff all made a fantastic effort with costumes which with the burnt scroll table names (western films) menu cards and cocktail list from the saloon bar completed the evening.
For the entertainment the Globe Girls performed sets each with an amazing change of wardrobe followed by a walkabout for the remainder of the evening serving shots from a shot-glass bullet belt! With two butlers in the buff presenting the Birthday girl with her cake as a treat from us!
Results and Outcomes
The evening was an immense success for all involved even the staff had a fantastic evening mingling and working off of the happy vibes from the guests. The entertainment was the talk of the town and will be talked about for a long time to come.
