Kadet Karts
Powered by a 5.5hp engine with integral automatic transmission, the Kadet can be whisked up to a maximum speed of 15 mph. Yet it can be easily governed down to 10 mph to comply with the DTI’s safety legislation for younger drivers.
Safety and Comfort
As with all our equipment, safety is paramount. The Kadet features a tough steel space-frame chassis with front and rear roll over bars, an adjustable moulded seat with a full racing harness and wrist restraints on the steering wheel. Further protection is afforded by the wide front bumper and a rubber-mounted wrap around side and rear bumper bar. All equipment is fitted with remote cut out units and all events are fully supervised by trained instructors.
Versatility
Kadet can be operated on any reasonably level grass area, or on a hard surface of any type. A track can be arranged on an area as small as 150’ by 150’ (feet).
Events
Kadet finds a warm welcome at any type of outside event or venue. When used in conjunction with Cub karts and our adult machines, the whole family can share the karting experience.

A Kiddi Kart Birthday Challenge package includes:-
One trophy engraved with the birthday child's name and age
Up to sixteen medals, (extra medals available on request) to be presented to the guests

9 – 13 Year olds
Parties begin with a safety briefing, including kart control introduction and a walk around the track. Each track is laid to suit age and surrounding. Outer markers are a different colour to inner markers so direction is easy to determine. Dependent on track size an overtaking area is marked if required, again a different colour so as not to confuse. The pit lane area is flagged and pit entry exit rules are explained at the start and emphasised throughout the party. The karts for this age group are fitted with a radio control unit, which enable the party hosts to control speed and or bring the karts, individually or all at the same time, to a complete but safe stop. This gives us as operators the edge on safety and complete peace of mind for you as parents.
As a guide - a maximum number of 12 children is recommended and dependent on numbers the children may be split into teams. Points are awarded for driving skills and following the rules, however points will be deducted if rules are broken!
The final race - It is normal to have a fun final race so as not to make any one feel left out. This normally consists of the birthday child and mum and or dad. Not every ones a winner on this occasion!
Kiddi Kart Birthday Challenge Package - If this option is taken, invitations will be sent out at the time of booking and a Birthday Challenge medal will be supplied for each guest along with a pre engraved trophy for the birthday child.
Catering - If your party/event is held at one of our leisure centre sites catering is always available as an option with a large selection to choose from. Please contact us for further details.
Venues
9 - 13 year old parties
Site availability is a little more restricted with this particular age group. Please contact us for details. All parties are outdoors and can be held on most types of outdoor surfaces, although grass is preferred. A minimum clear space of 120' x 120' (36m x 36m) with a safe surrounding area is required, a site visit could be arranged if uncertain.
