Clay Pigeon Shooting
What a blast! All full introduction into Clay Pigeon Shooting using targets such as Driven Pheasant, Springing teal and Crossing Crow. We use 12 and 20 bore shotguns which can be adapted to suit all guests. Staffed by our professional shooting instructor/s, guests will receive tuition in gun handling and safety whilst learning the very satisfying and competitive sport of clay pigeon shooting.

Archery
Calling all Toxophilites. A full introduction into this noble sport of kings and one of the countries oldest activities. Learn how to use our re-curve bows and with some expert tuition you will soon be hitting gold. Green tights and a pointy hat are optional but concentration and a steady hand will help. This is a very engaging and rewarding discipline and really quite addictive.

Air Rifle Range
The rifles are single shot, quality Weihrauch target 1.77 air rifles fitted with telescopic sights and the range is 20 metres. Full instruction and detailed tuition on mean point of aim and concentration will be given and the targets will range from competition to fun. Another very popular target sport to give variety as part of a multi activity event, part of a target sport event or a great addition to a country pursuits day.

Axe Throwing
The last of the Mohicans! Put your skills to the test and aim true with this exciting challenge. Hit the target with a variety of native Indian hunting weapons, tomahawks and throwing knives and trade hits for points. It is fair to say this activity is more about relaxation and rhythm than brute strength, surprisingly easy to pick up but tricky to become consistently good at.

Battlefield Live
Your mission is for each “Company” to battle it out in a game of strategy, quick thinking and above all fun! The guns are used by the Royal Marines for CQB Training and unlike real lasers, the beams we use (infrared)- are completely eye safe. The guns are always loaded and ready to respond, so there is no need to cart ammo around. With no physical projectiles, like a paintball pellet, shots are not affected by the wind; players do not have to wear masks, do not get hurt, and are not weighed down with heavy padding and protective gear. The mission feels for real and is very exciting – the closest thing to joining the army !

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting
A great alternative when live clay is unsuitable or not permitted; simulated clay shooting using 5 standard over & under shotguns which have been deactivated and fitted with electronics. The guns fire pulses of infra red light at reflective clays and electronics in the gun transmit hits (and misses) to a large scoreboard. The system is set up in a similar manner to a "live" shoot with various bird presentations.

Air Pistol Range
The pistols are the very latest design, Walther top quality CO2 powered weapons fitted with state of the art Red Dot electronic sights and the range is 7 metres. The guns also have an 8 shot revolving magazine. As with our Rifle Range full instruction and detailed tuition on mean point of aim and concentration will be given and the targets will range from competition to fun.

Duck Herding
Experience the team spirit by negotiating an obstacle course with a trained sheepdog herding a small flock of Indian Runner Ducks. You will be taught a few basic commands to instruct the dog to achieve the task. A unique and much loved activity to promote team building or just a wonderful experience and great addition to a country pursuit style event.

Falconry
Have you ever wondered what it is like to hold an African Batleur Eagle or a Lanner Falcon? If not, why not? Under the supervision of our professional falconer, you are invited to handle and actually fly these beautiful birds. Maximum participation and interaction with the birds is encouraged. It’s a magical moment when a Hawk swoops out of the sky and lands on your gloved fist! Insightful, interesting and an awesome rush not to be missed

Climbing Wall
Calling all adrenalin junkies! Each face of the wall is colour coded depending on the difficulty of climb so a versatile and potentially challenging activity. A bell is located at the top of each face to ring on completion of the climb so perfect for the highly competitive (see what I did there?!!). Full instruction given, safety helmets and harnesses will be worn and this activity is loved by both adults and children alike.
