Lessons
Individual Lesson (Entry)
The ideal opportunity to experience shot gun shooting at clay targets. Full explanation of how a shot gun operates, with briefing on personal and gun safety.
Including 25 shots at appropriate targets, clients have an opportunity to try shooting at their own pace. Sessions will normally last around 45 minutes to 1 hour; extra clays and cartridges can be provided as necessary.
Cost £45 per person.
Individual Lesson (Intermediate to Advanced)
Normally one to two hour sessions allow an instructor to guide and advise clients who already have experience of shot gun shooting.
Lesson objectives are clearly framed to suit client requirements and are worked through in a progressive and systematic manner.
This is an ideal way to perfect existing techniques or to try something new in your shooting.
Cost £65 per hour which includes 50 shots; extra clays and cartridges can be provided as necessary.

An experienced loader can provide valuable assistance in the field. Teams or individual loaders can be provided to ensure an effective service.
Loaders are fully trained, independently certified and insured to enable assistance to both single and double gun days.

Gun Fits
Once shooting has become a familiar activity, it is wise to seek advice and guidance on gun fit. This is a systematic process which involves an assessment of an individual’s performance before gun fit is looked at in some detail. A gun is plated for fit and a written report prepared to provide guidance on technique in addition to any fitting recommendation.
Cost £95 (inclusive of clays & cartridges)
Field Instruction
This service is designed for those requiring individual instruction in the field. Instructors operating on the peg are judged as invaluable in a number of field shooting situations.
To those new to game shooting, the presence of an instructor can accelerate learning and ensure safe shooting practice.
For the more experienced shot, the instructor facilitates an opportunity to perfect a more effective and successful shooting technique. Can be combined with loading. Cost £250 per day plus expenses
Training Courses
Independently certified training programmes in sporting shot gun, sporting rifle, trapping and wild life management, shoot based health and safety, shot gun coaching, loading and first aid for shooting.
Validated and quality assured by Lantra Awards and delivered by registered Lantra qualified instructors.
