At Country Wide Special Events we are proud to support charities throughout the UK, but with charity beginning at home, we have set up our very own charity arm of the company called “Ollie G Charity Events”.
Ollie G Charity Events was set up to raise money for Mucopolysaccharide (MPS) Diseases are rare inherited genetic diseases that in the majority of children will result in death in childhood. There are 22 different types of MPS and Related Diseases. MPS I Hurler Disease is one of only five forms of the MPS which are treatable and which can give a child a reasonable quality of life and good prognosis.
In the 4 years since the birth of Ollie G Charity Events, Country Wide Special Events have run a variety of events to raise money for the charity and are delighted to announce that they have raised in excess of £ 400,000 for this very worthwhile cause.

Country Wide Special Events are also proud to host a charity clay pigeon shoot for the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust, which they have successfully hosted for the past 12 years, and last year saw the first charity clay pigeon shoot in aid of the Snowdon Awards Scheme.

“…may I again say again what an absolutely stupendous effort put in by you, David and the Committee to achieve such an amazing total, almost £30,000. It must give you all a lovely feeling of well being to know that so many people will benefit from the results of your labours. As I mentioned to you, we are having to replace all the existing furniture on the ward in order to fall into line with EEC regulations. We obviously bought new for the day room and the small relatives room, but there is still quite a long way to go.
